ProjecteSD participates at ARTISSIMA XYZ DISEGNI section, an exhibition curated by Bettina Steinbrügge and Lilou Vidal that underlines the polymorphic aspects of drawing, through the sarcastic and poetic narratives and practices of ten artists from different generations and geographies.

Ana Jotta will present a new work entitled Torno Subito (I’ll be right back), a combination of two drawings on paper on a walldrawing. As Lilou Vidal states: “The characters and motifs in Ana Jotta’s drawings seem straight out of a fable, or a comic strip whose thread of the story has been lost. By appropriating and decontextualizing models from children’s coloring books on another scale, or by sliding sketches of comic book characters (like that of Krazy Kat by George Herrimans featuring scenes of absurd violence) on the walls of the exhibition spaces, she creates a satirical and poetic universe mixing humor, strangeness and corruption”.
