INDEPENDENT, VANDERBORGHT BUILDING, BRUSSELS

For Independent Brussels we are doing a solo presentation of Guillaume Leblon’s work in collaboration with two other galleries, Jocelyn Wolff from Paris and Carlier/Gebauer from Berlin. Leblon’s solo presentation brings together a constellation of new and older works articulated in the space to create an unusual landscape of objects. Paintings coexist with bas‐reliefs, found and transformed objects appropriated from nature dialogue with newly made sculptures. Material, form and craft are used to create a vocabulary of forms and syntax that range from the manufactured to the existent, the ephemeral to the permanent, the old to the new.
