El robo del año

The installation El robo del año, by Ulises Carrión, was exhibited at the Drents Museum, in Assens, in the Netherlands in 1982. The work had a place in the provincial museum, despite differing from the type of art that was usually shown. The invitation to observe an unprotected diamond in near total darkness must have been disconcerting. The enigmatic character of the piece was recorded by the lens of Claudio Goulart.
