In 2011, the Fundación Arte y Mecenazgo awarded the prize in the category of best Artist, to the professional career of Isidoro Valcárcel Medina. He dedicated part of the prize to the edition of this artist’s book. The work takes its name from the uncut books, those that are formed with a folded sheet without guillotining and that, in order to be read, their pages must be separated by passing them through a knife.
