Recent Field Work
Book after Lempert’s survey show curated by Miguel Wandschneider and organised by Culturgest, Lisbon with Domaine de Kerguéhennec, Bignan. Since the early 90s, Lempert has been researching animal life with an insatiable curiosity and uninformed gaze in the most diverse contexts. Invariably photographing in B&W with a 35mm camera, Lempert undertakes a remarkable exploration of the properties and materiality of the photographic image, revealing a unique artistic position, constructed with no concession to contemporary photography dominant trends.
