Somewhere between an artist’s book and a catalogue, the book is the outcome of a joint effort involving the MUSAC of Castilla y León and the Frac Bourgogne, responsible for two García’s solo exhibitions in 2005. No book has offered such an overview of the artist’s œuvre —important documentation on each project— or proposed different readings —by critics and curators who have been involved in her work— in order to get an idea of its one-off quality and its coherence. Essays by Edwin Carels, Peter Doroshenko, Guillaume Mansart, Agustin Pérez Rubio and François Piron.
